Notre Dame Unveils "The Shirt" For The 2016 Football Season

Every year since 1990, Notre Dame has run what is calls The Shirt Project to raise money for various causes on campus. In essence, the committee designs a tee shirt for the upcoming football season and donates the proceeds from its sales. According to the organization's website, the proceeds go to students with unexpected medical expenses as well as a number of student clubs and organizations. Friday, the 2016 version of "The Shirt" was officially unveiled.

The front features a simple design with Notre Dame's logo encompassed in a football. The back features the phrase "Rise Above Ourselves" and lists out the years of each of the program's national titles.

It's also very, very blue. Last year's, in contrast, was very green.
