Back in August no one would have pegged the Temple Owls to be a marquee FBS team entering the month of November. But here we are, nine weeks into the season, mulling over the school’s biggest game in program history this Saturday against Notre Dame. Both ranked teams will no doubt fill Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia this weekend, and ticket prices continue to increase on the secondary market prior to kickoff.

According to TiqIQ the average secondary market price for Temple vs Notre Dame tickets is $335.46. That is easily the most expensive game this week and the only to exceed the $300 average. The cheapest available ticket is now listed for $216 – up 148% from last Wednesday’s get-in price of $87.

Temple’s unexpected seven-game winning streak has caused the nation to raise its collective interest in Sunday’s game, so much so that ESPN’s “College GameDay” will bestow its blessing upon the City of Brotherly Love this weekend. The No. 21 Owls own the AAC’s best defense at 4.38 yard per play, but whether that will be enough to halt the surge of C.J. Prosise and the No. 9 ranked Fighting Irish will be a decisive factor Saturday. Notre Dame also travels to Philly on plenty of rest after a Week 8 bye.

Tickets may be steep to attend Saturday’s game, but a number of deals can be found on Philadelphia hotels on Prices start at just $61 each night while four-star hotels can be found for $196 per night. Flights to Philadelphia on are also available.

Contrary to the buzz surrounding the potential poll-shattering game in Philadelphia, there are several other big games taking place across the country this weekend. Florida and Georgia meet in their annual game at EverBank Field in Jacksonville Saturday. Dubbed the “World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party”, the game will see the Gators looking to defend their No. 11 position against a Bulldogs team on the bubble of the AP Top 25. Florida vs Georgia tickets currently own a secondary market average of $282.99 and the get-in price is $121.

No. 3 Clemson travels to Raleigh to take on NC State in the third most expensive game this weekend. With the Tigers making a strong case for the College Football Playoff with their 7-0 record in the ACC, they’ll likely solidify their spot atop the polls with a pivotal road win over the 5-2 Wolfpack. NC State vs Clemson tickets average $213.65 and the cheapest ticket is $99.
