The Fighting Irish were a few plays away from stealing a win from Georgia last Saturday. Despite the loss, Notre Dame proved it's one of the best teams in the country. With Virginia heading to South Bend this weekend, ND will have a chance to bounce back with a win.

The 18th-ranked Cavaliers are 4-0 heading into Saturday's game. They have signature wins over Pitt and Florida State — but Notre Dame will be their toughest test yet. Virginia averages 35.25 points per game on offense while the defense allows just 18 ppg.

Quarterback Bryce Perkins commands the UVA offense. The dual-threat QB leads the team in both passing and rushing yardage.

Notre Dame is averaging 39.3 offensive points per game. The defense is giving up 18 ppg — the same as Virginia's defense.

Here's all the details for Saturday's contest:

Game Time: 3:30 p.m. ET

Channel: NBC

Spread: Notre Dame -12.5

Over/Under: 48.5

Announcers: Mike Tirico, Doug Flutie, Chris Simms, Kathryn Tappen, Terry McAulay

The last time these two teams met came in 2015, and it was a thriller. Notre Dame QB DeShone Kizer threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to Will Fuller with just 12 seconds remaining to win the game. Fans are hoping Saturday's contest is just as exciting.

Virginia-Notre Dame kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
