Notre Dame's Andrew Trumbetti Calls Pick-6 The "Most Exciting Moment" Of His Life

Late in the first quarter of Notre Dame's win over Wake Forest, sophomore defensive lineman Andrew Trumbetti intercepted a botched pass attempt and returned it 28 yards for a score, giving the Irish a 14-0 lead. Clearly, given his position, it isn't the type of play he's going to make many times in his life.

Saturday night, following the contest, Trumbetti took to Instagram to make quite the claim. He said that the pick-six was the "most exciting moment" of his life. Pretty cool.

Notre Dame is now 9-1 with games against Boston College and Stanford remaining. If they can win two, they might find themselves in the College Football Playoff.
