Today, Notre Dame fans got a bit of bad (although not totally unexpected) news, as incoming five-star defensive lineman recruit Eddie Vanderdoes officially announced that he will not be coming to South Bend. Vanderdoes will have to sit out one year as a transfer, but will be able to start classes and practices at UCLA immediately this fall.
Irish fans across the country were not thrilled to lose such a special talent, and they weren't the only ones upset: it appears that Vanderdoes may have upset some of his former future teammates at Notre Dame -- most notably incoming defensive lineman Isaac Rochell.
Rochell and Vanderdoes were supposed to be terrors together on the defensive line down the road for the Irish, although that plan has clearly gone out the window. Rochell was not pleased, and took to Twitter to vent, both tweeting his own feelings, as well as retweeting others with similar thoughts:
Rochell, while admittedly angry, did try to explain that he's just frustrated at the moment, and understands Vanderdoes' decision.
