Former Ohio State 4-star safety Isaiah Pryor is sorting through his options after entering his name in the transfer portal. He has garnered attention from several elite programs.
According to a report, Pryor will be visiting Notre Dame this upcoming weekend. The 6-foot-2 safety prospect will arrive in South Bend on Friday and leave on Sunday. The move makes sense for both sides.
During his recruitment, the Fighting Irish worked hard to earn Pryor’s commitment. He even took an official visit to the school at one point.
But in the end, Pryor wound up choosing the Buckeyes. Here’s what Pryor had to say about Notre Dame after that visit in 2017:
“It’s very special,” Pryor said, via 247Sports. “This place has everything. The academics are really the big selling point. You won’t find better than here. Then, with football, I liked what they did defensively and the guys played hard. I could see myself playing in this scheme.”
Pryor ranked as the eighth best safety in the 2017 recruiting cycle — No. 63 overall of all prospects.
