Ohio State's Ezekiel Elliott Says Notre Dame Was His "Dream School" Growing Up

Ezekiel Elliott will be playing against his childhood "dream school" in the Fiesta Bowl on Friday. 

The Ohio State star running back told reporters today that he grew up loving Notre Dame. When it came time for Elliott to choose a college, though, he went with the Buckeyes. 

Elliott, a four-star prospect in the 2013 class, said the Fighting Irish recruited him as an athlete, not a tailback.

That was certainly a recruiting miss for the Fighting Irish.

Notre Dame and Ohio State are set to kick off at 1 p.m. E.T. on Friday. The game will be televised on ESPN.
