Penn State's Official Twitter Account Hilariously Trolls Notre Dame About "Rudy"

Penn State Rudy Offsides tweet.

Rudy Offsides

Corporate Twitter accounts talking trash to one another is one of the best aspects of social media.

Said practice occurred today.

Penn State's official Twitter account, @penn_state, posted a photo today of the school's police dog, "Rudie," doing some work.

">@PennStatePolice That's an awesome name for a dog! We prefer the spelling 'Rudy,' though!

Pretty good response, Notre Dame.

Penn State, though, decided to take it up a notch. They basically brought out the folding chair, smashed Notre Dame in the back and knocked the Fighting Irish out.

That's a 10.

(For those unaware, that's a shot at Rudy Ruettiger, the Notre Dame walk-on who inspired the classic sports film, Rudy. Some believe Ruettiger, who recorded a sack in his final game, was offsides on the play.)
