When Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin was a boy, he lived in Indiana. While he attended Purdue when he went to college, a picture tweeted out today by ESPN's Brett McMurphy shows that Sumlin may have been a Notre Dame fan during his childhood. In the picture, an 11-year-old Sumlin is rocking a Notre Dame sweater with Fighting Irish legend Vagas Ferguson.

Sumlin caught wind of the tweet, and made a joke at his own expense.

Sumlin's Aggies will kick off their season on August 28 against South Carolina. We're willing to bet that he won't be wearing his Notre Dame sweater.
