Photo: Former Notre Dame BB Player Shares Picture Of His EA Sports Settlement Check

Former Notre Dame basketball player Jordan Cornette, who played for the Fighting Irish in the early-to-mid 2000s, shared on Twitter today a picture of the settlement check he received from EA Sports.

A class action suit against the video game company and the NCAA resulted in a $60 million payout. The former student-athletes receiving the money are getting far less than that, though.

Cornette, who played at ND from 2001-05, received $485.93.

It had been previously reported that the average payout for the 29,000 athletes a part of the lawsuit would be about $1,200. The maximum payment is reportedly $7,200.
