Earlier: Earlier this year, Notre Dame athletics signed a 10-year apparel contract with Under Armour, the largest deal in the history of collegiate sports.
Previously, the Fighting Irish were sponsored by Adidas. So, what are Notre Dame's coaches and athletes to do with all of their old gear? One Notre Dame football coach, defensive line coach Mike Elston, is selling his Adidas apparel.
If a current Notre Dame athlete tried to sell his old Fighting Irish Adidas gear, that would be an NCAA violation. But it appears it's OK for a coach to do it.
