Everett Golson has graduated from Notre Dame.
That means the Fighting Irish quarterback, who has decided to transfer out of Brian Kelly’s program, is now able to sign with another school.
ESPN’s Joe Schad reports that the 6-foot, 200-pound quarterback should announce his transfer decision within 48 hours. Florida State is the “frontrunner” to land Golson, Schad says.

Jimbo Fisher has publicly stated that Florida State is interested in signing Golson, who has one year of eligibility remaining and can play right away this fall. He would likely be the Seminoles’ starter.
