Bryant was originally slated to be suspended for the first four games of the year due to an undisclosed violation of team rules.
A one-time four-star recruit, Bryant had yet to breakout through two seasons in South Bend. He rushed for 289 yards and three touchdowns as a sophomore in 2014 while backing up Tarean Folston.
With Bryant out of action, Folston will once again carry the load. He'll be backed up by junior C.J. Prosise and freshmen Dexter Williams and Josh Adams.
