Notre Dame is well on its way to compiling a standout 2020 recruiting class, but the Irish are making serious inroads in 2021 as well.

The Irish landed a pair of four-star prospects last weekend. Additionally, all four of Notre Dame's 2021 commits are four-stars, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

Three of them find themselves in the initial Rivals100 for the 2021 class. as well, which was released this week. The Rivals100 sorts out the top prospects in the country for a given recruiting class.

The three ND commits who made the cut were:

  • Four-star offensive tackle Blake Fisher - No. 14 overall recruit
  • Four-star quarterback Tyler Buchner - No. 52 overall recruit
  • Four-star defensive tackle Gabriel Rubio - No. 81 overall recruit

You can view the full Rivals100 here.

Currently, Notre Dame's 2020 class ranks No. 5 in the country. The 2021 haul checks in even higher at No. 2.

There is a way to go before both classes get finalized, but clearly Brian Kelly and company are rolling along on the recruiting trail right now.
