The 4 Biggest College Football Jobs That Will Be Available After 2017, According To The Media

Which college football programs will have openings at the top after the 2017 season?

The 2017 college football season is here, but before we get underway, let's take a look at which major programs could see their coaches on the hot seat during the upcoming campaign.

This week, Ty Duffy of Awful Announcing surveyed 18 media members - asking them for a number of predictions heading into the season.

One question - which will be the biggest job available after the 2017 season?

The answers, in order of highest number of respondents:

  • Texas A&M
  • Notre Dame
  • Tennessee
  • UCLA

So, in essence, the media believes that Kevin Sumlin, Brian Kelly, Butch Jones and Jim Mora are coaching for their jobs this season.

None of these selections are surprises - though some believe that Jones should be given longer to turn around Tennessee's program. It'll be interesting to see how many of these jobs are actually available this January.
