Week 3 of the college football season is upon us, and aside from the trailblazing path that the Ohio State Buckeyes find themselves on, the picture is still muddy as to who will compete with them to bear the torch by season’s end. The Buckeyes have yet to be truly tested after cruising to wins over Virginia Tech and Hawaii, and will again face a non-threatening opponent in Northern Illinois. It will then be the Georgia Bulldogs who host the most expensive game on the secondary market this week.

Alongside Georgia on the top games list this week are also LSU, Notre Dame, Arkansas and Alabama. Threatened by impending thunderstorms in Week 1, the Tigers were forced to cancel their home opener against McNeese State and will officially open in Baton Rouge against Auburn this week. Both Notre Dame and Alabama enter Week 3 riding high off of wins last Saturday while Arkansas returns home following a loss to Toledo on the road.

Below is the top five most expensive games during Week 3 of the 2015 season, according to TiqIQ:

South Carolina at Georgia | Avg. Price: $227.30 | Get-in: $79

Seventh-ranked Georgia brings its 2-0 record back to Sanford Stadium to welcome South Carolina in the top-priced game of the week on Saturday night. The average secondary market price for Georgia vs South Carolina tickets is currently $227.30 and the get-in price is $79. The rivalry between the two schools dates back to 1894, with the Bulldogs owning the competitive edge at 47-18-2.

Auburn at LSU | Avg. Price: $212.29 | Get-in: $90

LSU will host the second most expensive game of the week when they play Auburn at Tiger Stadium this Saturday. Auburn vs LSU tickets on the secondary market average of $212.29 and the cheapest available ticket is listed for $90. Serving as the first official game in Baton Rouge this season, the Tigers set to welcome the 50th installment in the coveted rivalry, which dates back to 1901. LSU leads the series overall at 27-21-1 all-time against Auburn.

Georgia Tech at Notre Dame | Avg. Price: $187.46 | Get-in: $85

A Top 25 showdown will be showcased in Indiana this Saturday when Notre Dame takes on Georgia Tech. The Fighting Irish are ranked as the eighth-best team in the country compared to Georgia Tech’s 14th-ranked position, so expect the matchup to be one of the (if not the most) intriguing games of the young season thus far. The average price for Notre Dame vs Georgia Tech tickets is $187.46 and the get-in price starts at $85.

Texas Tech at Arkansas | Avg. Price: $177.14 | Get-in: $67

Arkansas may have an insurmountable hill to climb if they hope to reach the postseason after taking a loss at home to Toledo last week. However, the Razorbacks are still finding considerable ticket demand for their Saturday game with Texas Tech in Little Rock. Arkansas vs Texas Tech tickets average $177.14 and the cheapest ticket is listed for $67. Expect the Hogs to seek vengeance early and often against the Red Raiders this weekend.

Ole Miss at Alabama | Avg. Price: $165.14 | Get-in: $97

Rounding out the bill this week is a battle down south between Alabama and Ole Miss in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide showed that they can square off under the big lights with a Week 1 win over Wisconsin at AT&T Stadium, but this weekend’s game will likely be their most difficult challenge yet. They’ll rely on the home crowd at Bryant-Denny Stadium in the 63rd meeting with the Rebels, whose win in the annual game last year was their first over Alabama since the 2003 season. Alabama vs Ole Miss tickets on TiqIQ currently average $165.14 and get-in price is $97 on the secondary market.
