Tyler Morris is not ranked yet, as a 2022 recruit. He is just entering his sophomore year of high school, so that will likely come in the next year or so.

However, his very early offer list tells you what you need to know about him as a prospect. Morris has already received verbal offers from Arizona State, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Northwestern, Penn State, and Wisconsin.

Notre Dame has joined the long list of schools looking to get on his radar as he gets deeper in his recruiting cycle. He recently took a visit to South Bend to get a feel for the school.

Tyler Morris is staying a bit tempered on Notre Dame after the visit, but says he did enjoy his camp there, and wants to find out more about the program.

247Sports interviewed him about the camp, at which he reportedly performed extremely well.

Morris left town feeling good about the Fighting Irish. He’s still learning about the school, the program and developing relationships with the staff. He’ll surely return in the future, potentially as early as this fall for a game day trip, which will likely play a big role in either cementing Notre Dame as a major player in the race or pushing others ahead.

“As a whole, I liked Notre Dame,” said Morris. “There was definitely a good feel to it, but no big moments or anything that stood out to me that made me feel great about it yet.

“I think it is somewhere I could see myself at just based off seeing how the coaches run the program,” Morris continued. “I want to learn more about the school in these next few years.”

It is too early to know if Morris will have Notre Dame involved once he releases his top schools, and moves along in the process, but it is a pretty good bet considering he's a top recruit from the Midwest.

Morris stars for Nazareth Academy in La Grange Park, Illinois.
