Upsets Cause Major Shuffling In Week 9 College Basketball Polls

This past week saw some very interesting results throughout college basketball, and this week's AP and Coaches' Polls reflect as much. Only four teams in the AP and seven in the coaches polls stayed where they were in week eight, while a few results sent a number of teams rising and tumbling.

After the top five of Kentucky, Duke, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Louisville, we begin to see movement. After losing to an undermanned Seton Hall team 66-61, Villanova is down to eight in both polls. The win vaulted the Pirates to No. 19 in both polls. VCU and Arkansas also saw big jumps back into the Top 25, after receiving votes last week. Iowa State, which lost to South Carolina in Brooklyn on Saturday, and St. John's, which lost to Seton Hall and Butler this week, both saw fairly big slides.
