There's some big-time football games coming up this weekend. Perhaps none bigger than the one going down in Athens. No. 3 Georgia hosts No. 7 Notre Dame on Saturday. The game carries heavy College Football Playoff implications.

The Dawgs have been dominant this season. Their defense has allowed a combined 23 points through three games. But ND's offense will be the biggest challenge they've faced so far. On the offensive side of the ball, quarterback Jake Fromm and RB D'Andre Swift look to make a statement.

The Fighting Irish were unimpressive in a season opening 35-17 win over Louisville. But then bounced back with a 66-14 victory against New Mexico. A pivotal game against Georgia will answer if Notre Dame is a true contender this season. One thing's for sure — quarterback Ian Book will need to step up if ND is going to win.

Heading into the game, Vegas is loving the Dawgs in this one.

Georgia is a 14.5 favorite and OddsShark is predicting they'll win, 43.3-29.4.

That means the computer is also predicting Notre Dame will narrowly cover. A 57.5 total is also being predicted to go over.

Will Georgia dominate the Fighting Irish on Saturday? Or will Notre Dame pull of an upset?
