Malik Zaire looked like he was on his way to a strong season as Notre Dame's starting quarterback before suffering a fractured ankle in the second game of the year at Virginia. Now, after missing the final 11 games, Zaire is back, healthy and looking to regain his starting job from DeShone Kizer.
Recently, Zaire sat down with a pretty good Notre Dame quarterback of the past: 1947 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Lujack. The pair swapped a lot of stories and plenty of laughs during their time together.
Notre Dame released a video of Zaire and Lujack's conversation, and it's very cool. Fighting Irish fans will definitely want to watch this.
