By now, you've probably seen the video that has gone viral from South Carolina's first fall practice -- Jadeveon Clowney and teammate Gerald Dixon combine to flip over a blocking sled. You can see the video that fans are going crazy about here.
But a lot of fans aren't so impressed -- it has been pointed out over and over again on Twitter that this happens in practices quite frequently:
But the fans that really weren't impressed? The Notre Dame faithful. In fact, Notre Dame sports information director Michael Bertsch decided to tweet a video at the Associated Press that showed a Notre Dame tight end accomplishing the feat twice -- by himself.
The video is actually from last fall. Troy Niklas, the 6-foot-7, 270-pound tight end pretty much just tosses the blocking sled over -- it didn't stand a chance. It should be pointed out that Niklas is one of the strongest players on the Notre Dame team, and goes by the nickname "Hercules."
(Fast forward to 1:53.)
Bertsch has a point -- maybe fans are giving Clowney a bit too much attention. Or maybe, people should start paying a bit more attention to Troy Niklas.
