Notre Dame may have recently lost a key signal-caller in Everett Golson, but the Fighting Irish don’t typically have a hard time convincing quarterbacks to play under the dome. Today, four-star prospect DeShone Kizer out of Toledo announced his commitment to Notre Dame:
I am privileged to say that I will be continuing my Fighting Irish tradition by playing football at the University of Notre Dame! #CCHStoND

Kizer is a multi-dimensional quarterback with serious size and speed. He measures in at 6-foot-4 and 205 lbs, giving the Irish size at the position that is not currently on the roster. His other offers included some big names such as Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, Michigan State, and Wisconsin.
