The Irish went down.
Notre Dame lost its second game of the season at the hands of Ball State despite being an 18-point favorite entering the contest.
The Fighting Irish outscored the Cardinals in the second half, barely, but couldn’t overcome a poor first half. Although the Irish shot well, they were dominated on the boards by a 40-26 margin, including 13-4 on the offensive glass.
