Tyson Fury may be one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of his era, but he is also a massive showman. Fury has never shied away from a big moment, including competing in a WWE ring.

One of the most colorful personalities in all of combat sports, Fury has often been linked to potential super fights with some of the best in MMA like Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou.

Those fights have yet to materialize, but Fury took to social media to respond to another huge name in the MMA world.

The back-and-forth started when Joe Rogan suggested that UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones would defeat Fury in a fight. Jones responded by challenging Fury to a bout inside the octagon - and urged UFC president Dana White to get the deal done.

Fury responded by accepting the challenge, albeit with one specific modification - he would love to fight Jones, as long as it takes place in a boxing ring.

“Jon, you talk about being in a cage, I’m not a cage fighter, mate. I’m a boxer. The best boxer, actually," Fury said.

“So if you want to come into a boxing ring and fight me, be my guest. Let me know. You don’t have to call anybody else, you call me because it’s a boxing fight and I’m the boss in this game.”

Fury ended his challenge to Jones with one last jab.

“You’re a great fighter, Jon, but you’re no boxer, that’s for sure," he said.
