Former Dallas Cowboys Running Back Joseph Randle Charged With Threatening Deputy

Former Dallas Cowboys' running back Joseph Randle has been charged with threatening an officer while jailed in Kansas.

Randle, 24, was charged in Sedgwick County on a felony count of criminal threat. He reportedly is being accused of threatening a deputy for "enforcing" the rules while in jail last month.

The former Oklahoma State tailback was released on $5,000 bond and is due back in court on July 6.

The 6-foot, 210-pound running back has had multiple run-ins with the law. He has also been charged with felony counts of a casino disturbance and backing his car into three people. He will face those charges in court in early July, too.

The Cowboys drafted Randle in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Dallas waived him in early November of the 2015 season.
