On Thursday morning, the world’s best golfers flocked to California for the next big tournament. Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, CA hosted Tiger Woods, Justin Thomas, Brooks Koepka and others in the Genesis Invitational.
Matt Kuchar jumped out to an early lead in the tournament with a seven-under, 64. He holds the lead by three shots, though Woods is hot on his trail after a great start to his first round.
While Kuchar and Woods are playing great golf, someone else stole the headlines from Thursday’s round – and it had nothing to do with his play on the course.
Jon Rahm teed it up this afternoon in a very unique shirt. He went with the no-collar look, something fans didn’t exactly love.
Check it out.

They can’t all be winners.
Despite fans not being thrilled with his outfit, Rahm is playing just fine on the course.
He opened his first round with a birdie and then recorded four-straight pars. He currently sits at one-under, six shot off the lead.
Rahm is unquestionably one of the best golfers in the world and consistently performs well at majors. His best finishes at the major tournaments have all come in the past two years.
Is this finally the year he breaks through with a win?
