Dustin Johnson entered the final round of the PGA Championship seven strokes back of the leader, Brooks Koepka. With just a couple of holes to play at Bethpage Black in Long Island, New York, things have changed. Oh, things have changed.
Johnson is now just two strokes back of Koepka, the leader, as we head into the final couple of holes in New York.
He’s now at -8 for the tournament, with Koepka at -10 and likely to drop another shot.
Johnson, 34, could be making a run at his second major tournament. He won the U.S. Open in 2016. His best finish at the PGA Championship came in 2010 when he tied for fifth place.
Paulina Gretzky, Johnson’s longtime partner, could be waiting off the 18th green for a celebration in about an hour.
Gretzky, the daughter of the NHL legend, was spotted at the PGA Championship earlier in the week.
The final round of the PGA Championship is currently airing on CBS. You’re not going to want to miss the finish.
