Gary Woodland is trying to win his first major championship today at the U.S. Open. The 35-year-old Kansas native entered the final round of the U.S. Open leading by one stroke.
Woodland’s previous best finish at a major was a tie for sixth at the 2018 PGA Championship. It goes without saying that a win here would be a major breakthrough.
If Woodland pulls it out tonight, he will be celebrating with his wife Gabby. The pair have been married since October 2015.
Woodland and his wife went through an incredibly tough ordeal in 2017, when Gabby was pregnant with twins and she lost one of the babies. Thankfully, she was able to deliver a baby boy, Jaxon, on June 24, 2017.
Here are a few more photos of Gabby.

I’m so honored and humbled to have received the CPL Brock Bucklin Patriot Award last night at the Folds of Honor Patriot Cup National Gala. Today was equally as special to able to play golf and spend time with the men and women that have served and the families that have paid the ultimate sacrifice for this country. @majordanrooney and @foldsofhonor are changing lives and I’m proud to be part of their mission.
Woodland continues his push for a major right now on FOX. The final round should be going until around 10 p.m. ET.
We’ll see if the weekend ends on a high note for him and Gabby.
