Scottie Scheffler's Hilarious Green Jacket Quote Going Viral

Scottie Scheffler is living his best life after winning The Masters last weekend.

He won his first green jacket and his first overall major championship after finishing with a 10-under score through four rounds. He was able to edge out Rory McIlroy, who finished three shots behind him.

Now that he has a green jacket, he feels like he's a little invincible. Scheffler has been jokingly putting the jacket on around the house to send a message to his wife that he doesn't have to do anything now.

"I’ve just put it on a few times around the house when trying to mess with Meredith," Scheffler told GolfDigest's Michael Johnson. "When she tries to get me to clean the dishes or something like that, I’ll put the jacket on and be like, 'Really, I still have to do this?' I’ve had some fun with her with that."

If he wins more green jackets in the future, there's a chance that he can keep that joke going.

His next chance to win a major will be at the PGA Championship in mid-May.

He'll also have a chance to win the US Open in mid-June, plus the Open Championship in July.
