Golf fans might get to see Tiger Woods compete at another major very soon. On Monday afternoon, Woods was on the list for those competing at the PGA Championship at Southern Hills.

Woods returned to competition earlier this month at the Masters. After making the cut, the 15-time major champion finished 47th.

Speaking to reporters after the Masters, Woods committed to playing the Open Championship at St. Andrews. At that time, he didn't reveal his plans for the PGA Championship.

“I won’t be playing a full schedule ever again,” Woods told Sky Sports. “It’ll be just the big events. I don’t know if I’ll play [the PGA Championship] at Southern Hills or not. But I am looking forward to St. Andrews. That’s something that’s very near and dear to my heart. I’ve won two Opens there. It’s the home of golf. It’s my favorite golf course in the world. So, I will be there for that one. Anything in between that, I don’t know, I will try. There’s no doubt — I will try to get ready for Southern Hills, and we’ll see what this body is able to do.”

While there's a chance Woods opts out of the PGA Championship, golf fans can't contain their excitement about him being on the field list.

The full field for the PGA Championship will not be set until May 9.

Woods has roughly two weeks to figure out whether or not he'll compete at Southern Hills.
