Tiger Woods vs. Phil Mickelson Part II appears to be in the works. But this time, the highly-anticipated rematch could involve two legendary NFL quarterbacks.
All sports, golf included, are on hold at the moment due to global health concerns. But a smaller golf event, with limited players and no fans, could be coordinated if healthy guidelines are maintained.
In regards to his rematch with Tiger, Phil noted that he’s “working on it,” via Twitter on Sunday. The match would involve very limited staffers to produce a live stream. If the event can be coordinated, it would garner a ridiculously high amount of viewers and revenue considering sports fans are desperate for anything at the moment.
But sports fans would have yet another reason to watch the potential rematch. The latest rumor indicates Tom Brady and Peyton Manning could also be included in the highly anticipated event, according to writer Robert Lusetich:
Hearing Tiger v Phil II might indeed be happening as a PPV event but that the caveat is that each will have a partner. Two names being mentioned? Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

If Mickelson can pull this off, this could be one of the most watched golf events of all-time.
Tiger and Phil already garner plenty of viewers. Throwing Brady and Manning into the mix would top the charts.
We’re all certainly hoping these rumored plans come to fruition.
