Off the course, Woods is dealing with a wrongful death lawsuit, filed against him and his girlfriend Erica Herman. It is from the parents of Nicholas Immesberger, a former bartender at Woods’ restaurant in Florida.
The suit alleges that Woods, Herman and restaurant employees were aware of Immesberger’s issues with alcohol, yet allowed him to be over-served on the night of December 10, 2018. That night, Immesberger, 24, was killed when his car went off the road.
He had a .256 BAC at the time of the crash.
