We're three weeks away from the PGA Championship and Tiger Woods hasn't formally announced whether he's going to play. But a recent visit to a notable golf course should be a good hint.

According to Dylan Dethier of Golf Magazine, Woods is traveling to Tulsa today and is expected to play a practice round at Southern Hills Country Club. Southern Hills is the host venue for the PGA Championship this year and it's where Woods won his last PGA Championship title in 2007.

Woods missed the 2021 PGA Championship due to his car accident but made the cut and finished 37th in 2020. It would be fitting for him to return fresh off his comeback at the Masters with a big performance at Southern Hills.

Naturally, there is all kinds of buzz around Tiger Woods following this news. Fans are taking to Twitter in great anticipation of him formally joining the PGA Championship:

Tiger Woods finished 47th at the Masters earlier this month. It was his first golf tournament since his 2021 car accident, and he looked solid on his first round.

Last year Phil Mickelson marked an incredible comeback in his own career, winning the PGA Championship. If Tiger Woods can replicate the feat in May, it will be one of the greatest achievements of his career.

Will Tiger Woods play at the PGA Championship? Can he win?
