The final round of the 2022 Masters had plenty of storylines to offer. Not only was Scottie Scheffler trying to fend off the competition to win his first major, Rory McIlroy was putting together a memorable round of golf.

On Tuesday, the TV ratings for the final round of the Masters were released. CBS' presentation for the final round delivered the most-watched golf telecast on any network in three years.

Sunday's coverage of the Masters averaged 10.173 million viewers, a seven percent increase from 2021. Overall, the telecast for CBS peaked with 13.160 million viewers.

Additionally, Paramount+ and CBS Sports managed to produce a new streaming record for golf.

The Masters remains one of the biggest draws in all of sports.

Even the earlier rounds of the 2022 Masters had impressive ratings, as ESPN recently announced that its telecast of the second round averaged 3.5 million viewers. That's the highest rating for the second round of the Masters since 2016.

With the Masters officially in the books, the focus now shifts over to the PGA Championship.
