On Thursday afternoon, Brooks Koepka got off to a horrible start at the PGA Championship at Ocean Course in Kiawah Island, South Carolina.

Koepka started the day with a double-bogey and it looked as though his injury-plagued season would continue. However, the four-time major champion battled back, shooting five under over the next 17 holes to finish with a three-under, 69 on the day.

He was teamed up with Justin Thomas and Rory McIlroy, who both struggled in their opening rounds. Both Thomas and McIlroy shot three-over, 75's on the day and enter Thursday six shots off the lead.

While McIlroy and Koepka weren't exactly synched up in their play, they were on the putting green at one point. Both star golfers started walking at the same time and entered the same stride.

They held the same mannerisms as they walked across the green in a video that mesmerized fans on social media. The two even twirled their putters at the same time in a moment that had fans a little freaked out.

Check it out.

We've seen video like this in the past with teammates from sports like the NBA and NHL. However, to see one in an individual sport is wild.

As for the actual tournament, Koepka is in good position - tied for the lead. McIlroy, on the other hand, needs a strong round to make the cut.
