Tiger Woods’ first nine holes at the PGA Championship at Bethpage Black in New York did not go well. The second nine holes are going much, much better.
Woods, who finished the front nine at +3, is now -1 for the tournament thanks to a ridiculously fast start on the back nine.
The latest putt hit by Woods was a massive one, sinking it for eagle.

Woods only played nine practice holes in anticipation of this week’s major championship, so it wasn’t surprising to see him start slow.
He’s heating up now, though.
Woods, coming off a win at The Masters, trails the tournament’s leader, Brooks Koepka, by four strokes.
Live coverage of the tournament begins at 1 p.m. E.T. on TNT.
