Justin Timberlake Reportedly Helped Recruit Chandler Parsons To Memphis
Chandler Parsons is headed to Memphis and Grizzlies' fans can thank, in part, Justin Timberlake for making it happen.
The 35-year-old pop star, a Memphis native who's a minority owner of the Grizzlies, reportedly FaceTimed the former Gators' star during his meeting with the franchise.
Parsons and the Grizzlies reportedly agreed to a four-year, $94.8 million deal earlier today.
ESPN's Tim MacMahon reported the Timberlake news.

Parsons was routinely seen at the clubs in Dallas with Mavericks' owner Mark Cuban.
We think he'll likely have a better time partying with Timberlake.
Timberlake, married to Jessica Biel, has been a minority owner for the franchise since 2012, when he was part of Robert Pera's bid to purchase the Memphis Grizzlies from Michael Heisley.
The Grizzlies struggled with injuries in 2015-16, going 42-40 before getting swept by the Spurs in the NBA Playoffs' first round.
