According to Bob Raissman of the New York Daily News, Mike Golic will have a new radio partner soon.
As evidenced by the massive number of layoffs last week, ESPN is making a number of changes to its daily television lineup. One big change that most fans will notice soon is the split up of Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic.
Greenberg, as reported months ago, will be getting his own show. According to Bob Raissman of the New York Daily News, Golic will be getting a new partner for his radio show. Raissman reported this past weekend that it will be Trey Wingo.
All could be revealed by the middle of May. Here's more:
Look for plans for Mike Greenberg's new TV show to see the light of day at this session as well as the new-look radio show hosted by his soon-to-be former partner Mike Golic. Industry sources say Trey Wingo, who replaced Chris Berman hosting the NFL Draft, will be Golic's new radio partner.
Raissman added that Mike Golic Jr. will also be part of the show.
Wingo has been at ESPN since 1997. He's hosted dozens of shows for the network - including NFL Primetime.
Mike & Mike has been one of the network's most popular shows - and it's been on the air for over 17 years. It'll be interesting to see how both programs work out.
