There Are ALCS Viewers Ripping Joe Buck On Twitter Even Though He's Not Calling The Game

Joe Buck is actually not calling Game 4 of the ALCS tonight on FS1, but he's still getting some vitriol from viewers who think is.

Buck was on the call for the first three games of the Yankees-Astros series, but tonight is in Denver calling Broncos-Chiefs for FOX. Joe Davis is filling in for him at Yankee Stadium.

Davis is younger and an up-and-coming play-by-play guy. His voice does sound a lot like Buck's, enough that he's managed to annoy some people watching the game.

Here's a sample of some of the tweets.

Buck is such a polarizing figure, he angers people when he's not actually even announcing the game they're watching.

Buck is supposed to be back in the booth in the Bronx tomorrow for Game 5. It seems like he'll be on the call as well if the series extends to Saturday and Sunday.

Game 7 would be Sunday, which means Buck would not be calling an NFL game this week if he's in Houston.
