Today's Mariners vs. Mets game featured a very scary moment a few minutes ago.
During the bottom of the second inning, outfielder Mitch Haniger took a 95-mile per hour fastball to the face from Jacob deGrom.
Luckily, he managed to walk off under his own power, but he's now out of the game.
The Mariners went on to score two runs in the inning, and lead 2-0.
Here's video of the pitch.
Hopefully Haniger is okay and there is no serious injury. There's no way that didn't hurt like hell, though.
