For the third straight year, Major League Baseball is honoring youth baseball with the Little League Classic. But this year, MLB really went the extra mile to make the Little League Classic jerseys as amazing as possible.

Ahead of the Cubs-Pirates game , fans were treated to a good look of the special jerseys. Chicago's utilizes their classic colors but with the word "Cubbies" across the chest.

Pittsburgh's has the same stripe and sleeve designs with the words "The Burgh" on its front. But instead of wearing their usual black and gold caps, they'll be wearing all-gold caps.

The back of the jerseys are unique too, with each player getting a personalized nickname.

Finally, the jerseys will have feature a “Thank You” patch on the sleeve.

MLBShop.com is currently offering replicas of the jerseys.

The Little League Classic takes place at BB&T Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. It's the second-oldest minor league ballpark in the country.

The town of Williamsport is considered the birthplace of little league baseball, and is the annual home of the Little League World Series.

Chicago currently leads Pittsburgh 1-0 in the bottom of the first inning.

The game is currently being played on ESPN.
