Players around the MLB haven't shied away from taking shots at the Houston Astros. It's the least they can do after finding out that Houston cheated its way to a World Series title back in 2017 by stealing opposing teams' signs.

Earlier this month, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger called out the Astros for stealing a championship from them. His comments then sparked Astros shortstop Carlos Correa to publicly defend his team.

The latest player to blast the Astros is Braves outfielder Nick Markakis. It's not surprising at all to hear that he's frustrated with Houston's cheating methods.

Markakis didn't hold back when talking about what would be a proper punishment for the Astros, saying "I feel like every single guy over there needs a beating. It's wrong. They're messing with people's careers."

In addition to saying Astros players deserve a beating, Markakis took a shot at MLB commissioner Rob Manfred.

"I think the commissioner completely handled it the wrong way." Markakis told reporters. "The way he handled the situation, he should be embarrassed of himself."

Pitchers could retaliate by throwing at players on the Astros. Whether or not the MLB will step in to make sure that doesn't happen is another story.

Make no mistake, though, the Astros will be the talk of baseball for the foreseeable future.
