New Bryce Harper free agency rumors are swirling today, with some believing the star outfielder is close to announcing his decision.

The Washington Nationals' All-Star outfielder isn't believed to have a ton of big offers from teams, but the Philadelphia Phillies have been consistently mentioned as one of the frontrunners to land him.

Harper, who's on the cover of this year's MLB The Show video game, has been rumored to potentially announce his free agency decision with a cover release.

A Monday afternoon tweet from the video game had people speculating about an announcement.

Phillies fans have, unsurprisingly, taken that tweet to mean that Harper is going to be announcing his decision today, with Philadelphia as the choice. There's also this unconfirmed report out of Las Vegas. "Bryce Harper has agreed to multi year mega contract with Philadelphia Phillies, source says deal was wrapped up pending medicals #Vegas has taken all Bryce Harper prop bets off the board."

Harper has been quiet throughout his free agency process. There's nothing new from any of the big MLB insiders, either, so it's probably best to take all of this speculation with a big grain of salt.

Still, it's probably best to stay tuned.
