Tim Tebow Had An Embarrassing Moment At The Plate Last Night

Tim Tebow has struggled immensely at the plate in Triple-A this season. As of today, he's hitting just .156 for the Syracuse Mets.

Last night, Tebow had an embarrassing moment at the dish when he struck out against Buffalo Bisons position player Jordan Patterson. It was Tebow's second strikeout on an 0-for-4 night, though he did walk once and score a run.

Here's footage of the third strike. Actually a pretty nice toss for a 1B/OF making his pitching debut, but come on Tim, you gotta swing the bat.

If you're gonna strike out against a position player, you have to at least go down swinging.

Tebow, who turns 32 in August, put together a solid season at Double-A Binghamton in 2018, but it hasn't clicked for the former Heisman Trophy winner this year.

However, Tebow is still just one step from the majors. Given the way the New York Mets operate, it wouldn't shock us to see him there later this year.

The man still sells tickets.
