Even though the Atlanta Braves should get credit for their win over the St. Louis Cardinals, the most entertaining moment from that game didn't occur until the closing moments. In the ninth inning at SunTrust Park, one MLB fan stole the show by hopping onto the field.

The Braves were one out away from sealing the deal on the victory, when this fan decided to bolt across the field. He went all the way from the outfield to home plate.

It didn't end too well for the fan, which is often the case for anyone that decides to interrupt a major sporting event.

Clearly, the fan running around the field didn't think of a proper exit strategy before taking matters into his own hands.

Once he found himself trapped toward the backstop, one of the security guards leveled him with a picture-perfect tackle.

Here is a video of the fan running on the field:

This isn't the first or the last time that someone will run on the field at a baseball game. However, not every fan will put up as strong of a fight as this person did.

As for the game itself, the Braves won 4-0 over the Cardinals.
