The Boston Red Sox are heading to London for a historic overseas clash with the New York Yankees. Based on the photos, they are spending no expense in making the trip as memorable as possible.

The Red Sox chartered a massive luxury jet for the trip, taking the Crystal Skye Boeing 777 on their voyage. The photos released of the inside of the luxury jet the Red Sox are taking are just incredible.

The deck of the plane includes a massive buffet with waitresses bringing hors d'oeuvres to the passengers. The seats all contain cushions and personal televisions. And, naturally, there's a fully stocked bar and bartender.

Even some of the Red Sox players and staff were impressed, documenting the experience with videos as you can see here:

The London series will be the first-ever played between the two sides on foreign soil, and as always, the stakes are high.

The Red Sox blew a ninth inning lead against the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday, dropping them nine games back of the Yankees in the AL East chase.

The Yankees, meanwhile, have the second-most wins in Major League Baseball right now, and have gotten most of their wins in the absence of many key stars.

It will be a big series, but the Red Sox and Yankees always deliver some fireworks when they play each other.
