The Yankees won Game 5 on Friday night to keep their hopes alive of playing in the World Series this year. Unfortunately, another unfortunate moment relating to the team's fans went viral during the game.

Just one day removed from a story about Yankees fans making fun of pitcher Zack Greinke's mental health, supporters of the team could be heard going after star infielder Jose Altuve.

Yankees fans - seemingly a lot of them - could be heard chanting "f*** Altuve" so loud it came through on the broadcast.

It's a pretty terrible look for the fan base, to say the least.

As far as we know, Altuve has never done anything to antagonize the Yankees. Fans are likely just going after him because he's good - which is pretty lame.

Altuve, one of the best players in baseball the past few years, has hit very well in the playoffs this year. Through 10 games, he's batting .333 with four home runs and six RBIs.

Luckily for the Astros, they're headed home for the rest of the series. They can close the series out with a win either Saturday night or Sunday night.
