There are plenty of words that can be used to describe UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov, however, Joe Rogan only needs two.

Nurmagomedov returned to the octagon this Saturday afternoon to take on Justin Gaehtje in the main event of UFC 254 from Fight Island. He didn't let his fans down, as he used a triangle chokehold in the middle of the second round to win via submission.

It was an impressive win by Nurmagomedov, who has now improved to 29-0 in the UFC. Shortly after the match was over, Rogan went on social media to share the following message: "Khabib Nurmagomedov is THE GOAT."

For the first time in a while, Rogan probably won't receive any pushback from his followers on social media. The fact is Nurmagomedov's resume is flawless, and he went about his career the right way - unlike other UFC stars.

Following his win this afternoon, Nurmagomedov announced that he's retiring from UFC. This was his first fight since losing his father earlier this year, and now it appears it will be his last.

"This was my last fight," Nurmagomedov said after the fight. "No way I can come here without my father. I spoke to my mother three days before the fight. I promise her it would be my last fight. If I give my word, I have to follow this."

Over the course of his career, Nurmagomedov took down superstars like Justin Gaehtje, Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier.

Do you think Khabib Nurmagomedov is the greatest UFC fighter of all-time?
