Despite fighting Roy Jones Jr. late last year, boxing legend Mike Tyson doesn’t appear to have any plans to get back in the ring in the near future. But that isn’t stopping him from training like he is.
As always, when Iron Mike puts on the gloves and starts swinging, highlights are sure to follow. And that’s exactly what we got from him this morning.
Taking to Instagram, the 55-year-old former undisputed champion shared a clip of a recent training session. As we saw just a few years ago, the man still throws punches so hard you can feel them from your living room.
It’s the first video Tyson has posted of himself inside the ring in months. Naturally, fans are pumped (but also a bit terrified).
I might rather take a bullet to the shoulder than see this coming at me https://t.co/Is5MEAwGUM

Some people found the timing of the video’s release to be very interesting. There was recently a viral post asking people whether Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James could beat Mike Tyson in his prime if he had gone into boxing instead.
Fans voted universally for Tyson, citing his incredible dominance and skill. And after seeing this video, fans will only be convinced of that stance even harder.
“And some fool thinks that LeBron could beat Tyson…” one fan replied.
“Give Lebron 2 years of training and he still wouldn’t be able to beat Tyson now,” wrote another.
Mike Tyson may be a few decades past his prime, but it’s clear the man can still punch holes in a non-trained person’s body.
