Earlier this summer, Conor McGregor lost in stunning fashion to Dustin Poirier in what was supposed to settle the score in their third and final fight.
Unfortunately for McGregor, the fight ended in the very first round with a devastating injury. The former UFC champion tried to plant his left foot and suffered a gruesome leg injury.
After suffering a broken leg in the Octagon, McGregor saw his comeback attempt thwarted. Now, just a few weeks later, McGregor is already taking major steps in his recovery.
Earlier this week, he was spotted standing in a boot putting weight on the broken leg.

Immediately after the fight, McGregor made it clear he wanted another fight with Poirier. He took to social media to say that he won’t be ready for September, but could be ready soon after that.
“Guys, the September date is too early for me. I am still in recovery,” McGregor said on Twitter. “My docs/physical therapy team out here advice me to stay. I reckon late October at earliest. But maybe November/December too. It is hard to say at this time a concrete date. But I’m in! Wait for me please!”
It’s clear he wants another fight – and before the end of the year.
